The more information on my resumé…the better.

Myth: Put as much information on your resumé as you can.

Reality: If your resumé includes details for every job you have ever held and every activity you have ever done, your resumé is probably too long. The best resumés are targeted, concise and specific. Two pages maximum…highlighting responsibilities, accomplishments and skills learned. Remember, your resumé is not an autobiography. Your resumé must tell the reader why them should want to meet you. Quality beats quantity every time.
