Make your interview a lasting impression.
We have all heard the expression before…“You only have one chance to make a good first impression.” Nothing could be closer to the truth in an interview situation. You will be competing with many other candidates and each one will be trying to make a good first impression because if the interviewer sees someone they immediately like or recognize as someone who is really trying to impress them, they will remember that person. Most importantly, when they are evaluating all the candidates interviewed the one they remember positively, will most likely be the one they hire. Dress appropriately, which means, know the job and company you are applying to and dress appropriately for the position. You are far better to over dress than under dress. Always dress in clothing you feel comfortable in. If you feel good, you will look good and most likely be relaxed in the interview. Remember the way you look and act will determine if the interviewer thinks you will be a good fit for their company. Dress to impress is always a good rule…and SMILE!
